November Energy Update: Where the Two Become One

    Listen to This Blog

    Hear November in Armineh’s Voice

Settle in, close your eyes if you like, and let this month’s guidance be read to you.

November arrives while much is still underground. The past weeks have called you to look back, to feel things again, to reconsider what you thought was settled. That inward pull continues into the first days of the month.

    Then something turns.

This is a month about union. The doer and the receiver within you. The one who reaches and the one who rests. The masculine and the feminine have spent a long time taking turns, often competing for the same ground. November invites them to sit down together and remember they were always one.

The month moves in waves. A descent. A turning point on the 13th. A widening toward the horizon. And one last awakening near the end. Let yourself move at its pace.

Two golden streams flowing together in a misty valley

    Still Below the Surface

November opens in the deep. The heart is still sorting through what it loves and what it has outgrown. The mind is still circling old conversations, old choices, old versions of you. Everything stays turned inward a little longer.

In the body, this can feel like tiredness that sleep doesn’t touch. Old memories rising without invitation. Conversations replaying late at night. A familiar ache returning just when you thought you were finished with it.

The heart and mind are going through their own archives. They are bringing up what you’ve carried so you can see it clearly and decide what stays. What rises now is the last stretch of a long, honest look inward.

    Practice

    What Am I Carrying?

Each evening this first week, place one hand on your chest and one on your forehead. Breathe slowly into both hands. Reflect quietly: what am I still carrying that is no longer mine? Write down the first thing that comes. Don’t fix it. Let it be seen.

    Two Pillars and a Door

The numbers this month tell the whole story in a few strokes.

2026 is a year of 1, the year of beginning. November is the eleventh month: two ones standing side by side. Eleven is a master number, a gateway. Picture two pillars of equal height with an open door between them. Neither stands taller. Neither leads.

Add the month to the year and you arrive at 3. One is the force that initiates. Two is the force that receives. Three is what is born when they meet. November carries the energy of creation through union.

    Practice

    Creation Through Union

Choose one thing you long to create this month. Write one action it needs from you, the part that initiates. Then write one way it needs you to listen, rest or receive. Place both lists side by side. Reflect: what is being born when these two meet?

    The Alchemy of Holding Both

In the first week of the month, the mind clears in an unexpected way. Light breaks through the fog, briefly and brightly.

In the old alchemical traditions, the great work was the marriage of masculine and feminine within one being. The masculine in each of us is direction, structure, action and protection. The feminine is receptivity, intuition, flow and nourishment. Most of us were taught to trust one and quiet the other. Some learned to push and never pause. Some learned to soften and never reach.

Inner union happens when both work as one movement. You may feel it as a sudden knowing. An answer arriving in the shower, on a walk, halfway through washing a cup. Something you’ve understood in pieces for months suddenly becomes whole.

That moment is the alchemy. The feminine receives the insight. The masculine gives it a name and a direction. Both happen in a single breath.

As these two find each other, creativity becomes more natural to you. Ideas arrive with less effort. Your hands want to make, write, cook, arrange, build. What used to feel like work starts to feel like play, because nothing inside you is pulling in two directions anymore.

    Practice

    Receive, Then Act

Keep a small notebook close between November 3 and 5. When an insight arrives, write it in one sentence. Then reflect: what is one small step this calls for? Take that step within the day. Let receiving and acting become one motion.

New Moon: A Union in the Dark

On November 9, the new moon arrives. In the dark of the moon, nothing is visible and everything is gathering. Light and dark rest in the same place, held together in the quiet.

While the heart and mind are still finishing their review, this moon favors a decision you have already been weighing over a brand new launch. Something you’ve circled for weeks. A conversation you know you need to have. A door you know you need to close.

Let the decision be made in the body first. The mind has argued every side by now. The body already knows.

    Practice

    Let the Body Vote

Write down the decision you’ve been circling. Read it slowly. Sit in silence for three minutes and notice your body. Where does it soften? Where does it tighten? Soft is yes. Tight is not yet. Trust what you feel.

A glowing gateway of light in a moonlit wildflower meadow

    The 11/11 Portal

Two days after the new moon, the door opens wide.

On 11/11, four ones stand in a row. Two pillars, mirrored by two more. The initiating force meets itself, and in that meeting it remembers its partner. This is the gateway of the month, the moment the two pillars and the open door between them become something you can step through.

A portal is a threshold. What you carry across it matters. The decision you made in the dark of the new moon now has a doorway to walk through. Bring it with you. Bring the part of you that acts and the part of you that receives, side by side.

This is a day for intention spoken from the whole self. Clear, simple, and felt in the body.

    Practice

    Standing Between the Pillars

On November 11, at 11:11 if you can, stand with your feet hip-width apart. Feel your weight settle evenly through both feet. Breathe into the left side of your body, then the right, then the line down your center where they meet. Stay there for eleven breaths. Reflect: what wants to be born through me? Speak your answer aloud as you take one step forward.

    Laying Down the Armor

In the middle of the month, old patterns of the masculine are returned to the earth for composting.

Here is what that looks like.

The part of you that pushes through exhaustion to prove your worth. The protector who keeps you safe by controlling every detail. The drive for bigger, louder, more, so that someone finally sees you. The habit of overgiving so you can feel needed. The need to win the argument.

You may notice a goal you chased for approval suddenly loses its pull. Your body may refuse to keep the old pace. Performing at work, online or in relationships may start to feel heavy in a way it didn’t before. You may have less patience for being right and more longing for peace.

In the wider world, ways of leading built on force are losing ground too.

Compost turns old growth into rich soil. Your will stays with you. What returns to the earth is the old shape it took, so it can rise again steadier and rooted in something true.

    Practice

    Setting Down the Shield

Write the words “I prove myself by…” and finish the sentence as many times as you can. Then read each line and reflect: what would it feel like to rest here? Place both hands on your belly. Breathe slowly. Imagine setting a heavy shield down on the ground beside you.

    Clear Values, New Agreements

As the month reaches its middle, the heart and mind find their footing again. The second-guessing that has lived in your chest for weeks begins to loosen.

You may have been rereading messages, wondering if you wanted too much, doubting your place in a room or a relationship. That fog lifts. What matters to you becomes plain. Your sense of your own worth steadies.

This is the time to make new agreements. With yourself: I rest when I’m tired. I say what I mean the first time. I stop apologizing for my needs. With others: clearer boundaries, honest requests, and reconciliation where it is true. Love returns to its balance point, where two people stand as equals.

    Practice

    Three Agreements

Write three agreements with yourself in the present tense. Keep them short and simple. Then write one agreement you want to make with someone close to you. Read all four aloud. Your voice makes them real.

    The 13th: The Turning Point

On November 13, the descent ends. Heart and mind turn forward together on the same day. This is the hinge of the whole month.

Thirteen is an old and powerful number. It carries death and rebirth, the ending that makes room for what comes next. It is the number of the moon, close to the count of moons in a year, so it holds the feminine and the cycles of the body. It is the twelve gathered around one center, the one that completes the circle and opens it into something new.

Add its digits to the year’s 1 and you arrive at 5, the number of movement, freedom and change. After weeks underground, life begins to move again.

You may feel it as a long exhale. Energy returning. Plans you’d paused, ready to go forward.

    Practice

    Marking the Turn

On the evening of the 13th, light a candle. Say out loud what you are leaving in the depths. Then say what you are carrying forward. Step outside if you can and take a few slow steps. Feel your body moving freely again.

A moon rising over a quiet shoreline at twilight

From the Depths to the Horizon

Around November 21, the energy of the month shifts from deep water to open sky. After weeks of looking inward, your gaze lifts. Faith returns. Meaning returns. The future starts to feel like something you can walk toward.

The masculine also changes its posture. It moves from performance into devotion and service.

Performance wonders, will they see me? Devotion wonders, how can I give this well? It is the meal cooked with full attention. The work done with care when no one is watching. Showing up for someone without keeping score. Strength that serves life instead of proving itself.

    Practice

    Make It an Offering

Choose one ordinary task each day this week. Before you begin, pause and say silently: I offer this. Then do the task slowly and fully. Notice how the same task feels different when it is given instead of performed.

Full Moon: Lightning That Reveals the Whole

On November 24, the full moon rises carrying a charge of sudden awakening. It is the most unpredictable day of the month.

Plans may change without warning. News may arrive out of nowhere. Your mind may feel restless and your nervous system quick to startle. Insights may come like lightning.

Lightning shows you the whole landscape in a single flash. This full moon illuminates what November has been teaching all along. The two you thought were separate, the giver and the receiver, the doer and the one who rests, were one the whole time.

    Practice

    The Long Exhale

When something jolts you, place your hands on your thighs and feel their weight. Breathe in for four counts and out for eight. Repeat four times. Then reflect: what just became clear?

    Closing

You enter November below the surface and leave it looking at the horizon. Between those two places stands a door held open by two equal pillars.

Go gently through the first half. Rest more than you think you need. Let the old armor fall where it falls. When the 13th comes, turn with it.

By the end of the month, something new will have been born in you. It will feel quieter than you expected, and more whole.

September 2026 Energy Update : A Quiet Beginning

    A quiet beginning

You’re probably still going. Still checking, still answering, still moving at the speed August asked for, and somewhere underneath all of that the calendar changed.

Nothing has arrived in a week. Nothing has needed you in the middle of the night.

The quiet is already here. You just haven’t stopped long enough to stand in it.

    Still running on August

August took a lot. Short nights, long days, a lot of feeling and nowhere to put it down, and by the end of it most of us were running on something that wasn’t rest.

That’s what’s still carrying you. It goes further than it should, which is the trouble with it. You can get a whole week done on August energy and not find out you’re empty until you finally sit down.

So you’re checking over your shoulder for the next thing, holding your shoulders up somewhere near your ears, waking at four in the morning for a reason you can’t name. Nothing is wrong with you. A body that braced for a month doesn’t put it down the moment the pressure lifts. It puts it down when it starts to trust that nothing else is coming, and trust moves slower than a calendar page.

Open hands resting in a lap

    Practice

Sit down somewhere you won’t be interrupted. Find one place in you that’s still holding. Jaw, shoulders, hands. Don’t fix it and don’t breathe into it and don’t do anything about it. Keep your attention there for a minute and notice that it’s holding on for something that already passed.

A nine that lands on a one

September is the ninth month, and nine is the number of endings. August was the ending. The long clearing out.

This September adds up differently. Nine plus the one we’ve been carrying all year makes ten, and ten comes back around to one.

    One is where things start.

So the month that looks like a closing is an opening, and it doesn’t announce itself. There’s no fanfare in it. You may not notice it happening until sometime in the spring, when you look back and find the beginning was here.

    Practice

Take a page and write what ended in August. Past tense, plain words, no meaning made of it. Name it and put the pen down.

    Something wants to start

Around the 10th you’ll feel the turn. Everything before that date still belongs to August, and everything after belongs to what’s coming.

The thing that starts is small. It’s a sentence that keeps arriving in the shower, a name you keep almost texting, a want that comes back three times in a week. It stays private this month, and that’s fine. Not everything needs witnesses to be real.

    Practice

Write down the thing that keeps returning. One sentence, no more. Date the page and put it somewhere you won’t look at it again until October.

    Where you’ll notice it

At work, an idea shows up with heat behind it. A new direction, a new chapter, something you’ve been circling for months that finally has a shape you can see. You’ll want to move on it, and you should.

In a relationship, a new chapter opens. Something is being written between two people that wasn’t there in August, and it has its own momentum. You don’t have to push it and you don’t have to slow it down.

And in your body, a routine changes on its own. The bedtime, the walk, what you eat before noon. This month the change comes out of appetite instead of discipline, which is why it holds.

A green shoot coming up through dark soil

    You’re writing a draft

Nothing has to be final in September. What you start now is a first version, and first versions are supposed to be loose and a little wrong.

October and November are for the pruning. That’s when you cut back what doesn’t hold, sharpen what does, and see what the thing actually wants to be. The same is true in relationships, and in work, and in whatever you’re building quietly at your kitchen table.

Begin anyway. Just hold it loosely.

An open notebook with a few handwritten lines and a blank page

    Practice

Take the sentence you wrote down and do the smallest possible version of it this month. One phone call. One paragraph. One morning of getting up earlier than usual. Under an hour, start to finish.

    The 22nd

On the 22nd, light and dark come out even. It’s one of the two days in the year when the balance is exact, and then the dark gets longer from there.

Four days later, on the 26th, something you’ve been holding for everyone else comes up for air. What you want stops being a background noise. It gets loud for a day or so and then settles, and the thing it said stays with you.

    Practice

On the 22nd, if you can, sit for five minutes around five in the evening. Ask yourself out loud what you’re carrying that was never yours to carry. Say the answer out loud too, even if nobody is home.

    Three dates to hold

    The 10th.
The turn. Before it and after it feel like different months.

    The 22nd.
Even light. A pause before the year tips toward dark.

    The 26th.
    What you want gets loud.

There isn’t much to do this month, and I think that’s the whole of it. Whatever is starting in you gets to stay small and unfinished for a while, which is a kindness if you let it be one, and October will do the sharpening when it comes.

Rest first. The rest of it can wait.
